Time to be totally honest here: the underdog turns out to be an all-time classic. Metroid Prime, surrounded by so many rumours about development troubles, is nothing short of a breath-taking experience. We would even go as far as mention it in the same breath with the Nintendo 64 classic Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I love all the metroid games! they are all great, quite challenging at times, easy at other times, a good thinking game in certain situations, and lots of gameplay time for it!

I enjoyed just about every minute I spent exploring this strange, alien world. It was always fun tracking down upgrades and unlocking new areas to explore. The boss fights were fittingly epic and challenging. An all-around terrific experience.

Samus returns in a new mission to unravel the mystery behind the ruined walls scattered across Tallon IV. In Metroid Prime, you'll play the role of this bounty hunter and view the world through her visor, which displays information ranging from current energy levels to ammunition. Equipped with a Power Beam and Gravity Suit, you must shoot locked switches, solve puzzles, and eliminate enemies. It's up to you to explore the world and recover more power-ups and weapons, which gradually open more gameplay areas.
