Warning: Spoilers
NOTE:::This is a review not a synopsis.

Wow just WOW this interactive drama is just amazing word's cannot

describe how well done this game is.

PRO'S The story is the better than most film's out there. PRO'S Character' are brilliant and you really care for them and it's hard to pick a favorite as they are all great!.

PRO'S Great graphic's but they don't matter although there the best out there. Pro's Situation's that make you sweat as they are too intence. PRO'S the game's twist's are very good. Pro's More adult and mature Game's are finally getting mature.

Con's The screen tearing is a bit annoying but nothing major. Con's the Viove actor's aren't that good although the acting is.

Overall this is epic and if you own a Playstation 3 purchase Heavy rain. 10/10

Parent beware!! This game is NOT for kid's the game does not have much violence but the murderer in this game is a person that drown's children. and either way it will most likely bore children.

BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!

While graphically beautiful and told in an interesting fashion, Heavy Rain is an overall disappointing. Focusing on red herrings to hold together a tenuous plot ridden with holes, Heavy Rain simply follows Quantic Dream's bad habit of games not delivering a full punch.

Heavy Rain review

Unbelievably complex while at the same time being completely human and nuanced, one canโ€™t help but be immersed in Heavy Rain. Brought to being by the creators of the almost-amazing Indigo Prophecy (worth a playthrough), they have truly shown the power of storytelling through video games. By putting the player in control of the five principal characters, the story inadvertently follows them and it feels more natural, not to mention more visceral when action scenes come. While previous games rely on a simple on-a-rail type storytelling which limits the player in obvious ways, Heavy Rain innovates. It mimics the feel of a game in which there is only one ending, but your actions directly affect the direction that the story goes inโ€”often tragically so. But in order for those tragic events to actually feel like they matter, Quantic Dream had to make you care somehow. This was pulled off in subtle but key scenes, where you strive to make your child laugh, or make eggs for someone, but it was also helped greatly by having very realistic facial renderings and lip-synching technology. The way you had to move the joysticks or press and hold buttons may seem arcade-y, but I thought they were effective in their difficulty and awesomeness in those rare cases that you do it flawlessly. There is some really great voice acting by some key actors, however sometimes I heard native accents that seemed out-of-character. Also, in times of stress, simply navigating to another side of a room is made incredibly difficult by the clunky navigation controls. Those points aside, I still loved every scene and look forward to playing through again with this compelling power I have to shape the story in a way that might be completely different now that I know who the Origami Killer is.

I can't say that Heavy Rain is terribly innovative, because it plays very similarly to Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy. However, considering that exceedingly few games play that way, it still feels unique and fresh. I am incredibly impressed with the way this game tells it's story, and how the story can change based on the players decisions and performance. Also, this game has some of the most depressing endings I've ever witnessed.

I'm hoping this game opens the floodgates. There's so much to love here with the story told through multiple narratives, gorgeous cinematics and shocking twists-- you can almost forgive the sloppy controls and plot holes big enough to drive a mack truck through. It's revolutionary though - I hope - and I want to see more games of this kind.
