“De lejos el mejor juego jamás desarrollado por Telenet (Los creadores de Valis), es difícil pero se ve hermoso y tiene una música memorable (Aunque en nivel técnico no es la gran cosa la música pero combina bien con el ambiente del juego), se controla bien y tiene una mecánica interesante al poder copiar el tipo de disparo de los enemigos.” read more
“Could have been a spectacular exclusive shoot'em up if it wasn't for the increased difficulty. Unique ability grabbing mechanic allows you take use of enemies weapons. Changing your ship move speed frequently is essential for defeating bosses and navigating certain stages, that's why it is mapped to button A (instead of select for example).
An overall difficult shooter, but in a totally different way where reflex and bullet recognition isn't the factor but recognizing deceptively placed pattern order and navigating though a AI that predicts your last ship placement is. Things are not as they seem, before you progress the scrolling screen wait for a traps to be released on several stages.” read more

"Gaiares (ガイアレス) is a horizontally scrolling shooter developed by Telenet Japan and published by Renovation for the Sega Genesis in Japan and North America in 1990. It was one of the first 8Mb cartridge games on the Genesis."

" In this you can steal enemy's weapons. One of the few 8-meg shmups on the Genny. A Genesis exclusive."
