"Far Cry oli se teknisesti aikansa Crysis. Toki kun muistelee sitä kuinka ensimmäistä kertaa pelin grafiikat näki, niin näyttäytyvät ne nyt hyvin paljon vaatimattomampina. Ei tämä silti huonolta näytä edelleenkään, lukuunottamatta läheltä aika karun näköisiä hahmomalleja ja muutamia yksityiskohtia. Varsinkin vihollisten tiputtamat aseet ovat aina olleet hyvin rumia. Ne kun ovat vain spriteja jotka leijuvat maanpinnan yläpuolella. Piirtoetäisyys on kuitenkin edelleen vaikuttava"
