Francis is a South African born actor living and working from Cape Town. Born the youngest of four to a German/Dutch mother and English South African father, Francis was schooled in two of Cape Town's Rudolf Steiner schools before attending the University of Cape Town, where he received his four year Bachelors degree in acting 'cum laude' in 2010. Beginning his career in theatre, Francis has played 4 seasons of Shakespeare at Maynardville open air theatre in Cape Town.
He first came to international attention in the 2010 Bollywood action film Crook: It's Good to Be Bad where he played the lead antagonist opposite Emraan Hashm
