As elegant and aristocratic as her British nationality requires, Elizabeth Inglis was one of the most promising actresses of her motherland, in the beginning of the 40s. After making her debut in Borrowed Clothes (1934) and having small parts in some of Alfred Hitchcock's early movies, she reached the point of co-starring next to Bette Davis in William Wyler's The Letter (1940). She vanished from public view, though, as soon as she got married to TV producer Sylvester L. Weaver Jr., shortly after World War II.
