Passchendaele - Region 1 DVD

While the movie may be somewhat mellow dramatic, it tackles head-on some of the problems on the home front at the same time as it provides the gut wrenching reality of the battlefield in Europe. From xenophobia to the disconnect between the recruiters and the reality of trench warfare, this is truly an ambitious film and one well worth seeing
