Out of all the movies on Jack the Ripper this one is still my favourite. It's subtle and the atmosphere is very well done. Jack Palance was an actor that always drove deep into his roles and this one was no exception. He is brilliant in this movie and throughout the whole film you kind of feel sorry for him in a way.
