On the DVD: for once here’s a release that utilises the true potential of the DVD format. It’s a truly interactive experience, inviting the viewer to explore the material on offer, as opposed to just pressing play and sitting back. This means it’s possible to return to the disc over and over again without stumbling across the same sections twice. An Incubus slot machine throws up random sections and it’s easy to become lost in the music as you move from acoustic tracks to a comedy performance on US TV. A massive song index ties the whole thing together and the result is a music DVD that sets a new standard for others to follow. --Phil Udell
