His roles in London's West End ranging from Tom Wingfield in Tennessee Williams The Glass Menagerie to Khlestakov in Nikolai Gogol's The Government Inspector. Although, previously type-cast as a characteristic "pretty boy", Verne has proven to possess the depth and skill of a character method actor. Born David Gary Verne in Cape Town, South Africa. Most of his childhood was spent riding horses and skateboarding prior to the Verne family moving to the UK.
