Curtis Stone, born November 1975, in Melbourne, is an Australian chef and television personality, best known as the host of TLC’s hit series "Take Home Chef."
Stone was studying for Bachelor of Business before deciding his heart was in food. He began cooking at the Savoy Hotel, in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia, at the age of 18. There, he worked with many European and British chefs who instilled in him the importance of working abroad to build one’s experience and skills.
