Noob Saibot
Reincarnated in the darkest of all realms, the Netherrealm, Noob Saibot is the very incarnation of evil. Before becoming a wraith, he was the original Sub-Zero, an assassin among the most powerful of Lin Kuei. As Sub-Zero's name, clothes, and powers would suggest, his character was icy and distant. In all aspects, he was a cold-blooded and violent assassin absolutely dedicated to his clan. While essentially neutral, his soul had become dark and corrupted from years of violence and remorseless killing. Before his story is revealed to the player, the player can make an educated guess on who he was. He disappears after MK, and is reborn in MKII.
When he died in the first Mortal Kombat tournament at the hands of Scorpion, his soul descended to the Netherrealm's Fifth Plane, where it was resurrected by Quan Chi. The evil in his soul was released, stripping him of pride, compassion, and everything else that made him human. He wishes not only to remain in the Netherrealm, but to conquer and rule it. Though he has been seen in the service of conquerors such as Shinnok and Shao Kahn, his ultimate allegiance is only to himself.

“This is a truly fascinating villain because he is actually the original Sub-Zero, of the Lin Kuei clan. Yes, that iconic ninja from the first game. Dying at the hands of Scorpion after the first tournament, he fell to the Netherrealm and joined Shinnok as a wraith-form of his prior self. He stood by Shao Kahn, aided Shinnok and Quan Chi, and has even mortally wounded Goro himself.
In the new timeline, his origins remain similar enough, more or less—but his longtime history as a constant agent of evil would easily earn his place on any list of villains. Besides, his all-black outfit is just a great design.

"*Hidden Character The undead Bi-Han, previously Sub-Zero, killed by Scorpion, and resurrected by Quan Chi as an agent of the Netherrealm. (His name is the surnames of Mortal Kombat creators, Ed Boon and John Tobias, backwards.)"

" Had his partner been anyone weaker or stronger, this fatality would have come to nothing. So I guess Noob Saibot was bright enough to save the hassle of finding a perfect match so replicated himself to get the job done."
