Daniel "Daniel-san" "Danny" LaRusso is one of the main protagonists of The Karate Kid trilogy and Cobra Kai television series.

Daniel was once a bullied high school student who was mentored by a wise karate sensei, who taught him both valuable life lessons and self-defense. Daniel was able to use this training to protect himself and others, winning several championships and beating aggressive opponents that challenged him.

"Daniel LaRusso Appeared in The Karate Kid series and Cobra Kai Controversy: While Johnny Lawrence and John Kresese, no doubt the bad guys in the series, Johnny does redeem himself in Cobra Kai, to a certain point. Others feel that his treatment towards Ali, and his passive aggressiveness, made him to be “real villain” of The Karate Kid and that he should have been disqualified from the All Valley Karate Tournament, for the technique he used to defeat Johnny in the first film."
