"10.10. This novel is similar to many Brazilian leftist underground films in a sense that it depicts poor underclass people rebelling against the state and the story itself has huge amounts of syncretist mysticism and symbolism. The story felt too stuffed, like there's so much things happening it's hard to read. Also, it's over 700+ pages long, so the latter half was very difficult to get through."
