Rise Up and Salute the Sun: The Writings of Suzy Kassem review

Posted : 7 years, 9 months ago on 6 July 2016 07:12

I love Suzy Kassem and her words. She is direct strong and graceful. I love to read everything she writes and I'm not the only one in SA who thinks this way.

Rise Up and Salute the Sun: The Writings of Suzy Kassem review

Rise Up and Salute the Sun is an important work of philosophy from a woman, one that is clearly influenced by independent thought and not strictly feminist thinking which is usually typical of female philosophers. What is most striking about Kassem's thoughts and use of words is the comprehensiveness of their simplicity. The ability to take complex ideas and present them in an easy fluid matter is not easy. It is an art.

I look up to her very much! She is very beautiful in the heart and very wise and modest. She does not use her external beauty for people to notice her. She is very clever about this even if it could attract more people to know about her. People talk about Malala in Italy as something new but Suzy Kassem has promoted the same values and issues long before this girl arrive.

Suzy Kassem is Prophetic

One of the most startling and life-transforming books I've ever read. I'm a jolly fan! There is no book out that can compete with the sheer brilliance and intensity of this one. Suzy Kassem is prophetic. She absolutely blows my mind and forces me to re-analyze my role in the world and the universe.
