Welcome to the Feral Zone

Posted : 8 years, 11 months ago on 6 May 2015 08:41

I was intrigued by the cover, curious description of the book and convinced the good grades on various portals. For me personally, it was a hit, I penetrated to the world described by the author and I am sure that this world will long remain in my memory.

The beginning was quite barren, I thought that this perhaps wasnโ€™t interest me, in addition - the main character, Delaney, wasnโ€™t very convincing, but luckily action very quickly moved behind a massive wall, which was built by the corporation as part of compensation for the fact, that several years ago it caused the disaster and its experiments on animals led to an infection of a huge amount of the population. On one side of the wall "normal" society, on the other side of the wall โ€“ Feral Zone and beastmen in the strangest forms.

For me, everything was very exciting, the climate and the world behind the wall - great, I was reminded Planet of the Apes movies that I love, expressive characters, and really it was easy to forget about everyday life. Delaney wasnโ€™t so annoying teenager and Rafe - gem, his personality, his way of being amused me to tears.

Perhaps it was in this book some inaccuracies, may have been a little absurd situations, but all captivated me so much, that I turned a blind eye. The book was a good entertainment and gave me a lot of emotions and I impatiently expected to continue.
