This is a much better book than Order, and you finally start to get a sense of wondering about the bigger picture as new information about Harry's future is reveled.

It gives many insights about the larger picture and how some things were thought to work together, but sadly it destroys much of the originality and takes away many "magic secrets" we could have lived with.

However it's worth reading :-)

I read the first HP before most of the world even knew about it yet, as I was working in a book store, and have enjoyed the series tremendously. But I found this book a bit tedious. I thought most of it was just a rehash of the old stories. As with happens in many series, the author spent too much time, bringing back references or "guest stars" from the old books, and too little was actually sp... read more

Everyone is invited. I’m aware that reading news articles and comments might make it easier to get work online. Some assert that since you don’t need to know how to create money, you may fake it. Since I’ve been working on this for four weeks, you can believe me. It’s great that my $860 initial cheque showed up. I hope you tried it. No investments are required from you. “I'm not sure why, but this one took me completely by surprise. I was expecting this installment to be mainly filler to get us to the Deathly Hallows, but so much happened here that I must have forgotten from the movie. The Half-Blood prince was considerably darker than the previous 5 books, and I just adore how this series has progressed and grown just like most of its readers have. Obviously I knew what the big reveal was prior to finishing the book due to my viewing the films before, but it didn't take away from the experience the novel had to offer. I have this nervous lump in my throat knowing that the next book is the final one, but am simultaneously excited to finally read what the films surely have left out surrounding the conclusion of the series.” read more
