Description: Ben Cross (16 December 1947 – 18 August 2020) was an acclaimed English stage and film actor, best known internationally for his starring role as the Jewish Olympic sprinter Harold Abrahams in the 1981 Academy Award-winning film Chariots of Fire. He also gained widespread recognition from later audiences for his portrayal of Sarek, Spock's Vulcan father, in the 2009 Star Trek reboot From 1977 to 1992, Cross was married to model Penelope Butler and had two children, Lauren and Theo.
