Amy Ferguson, born and raised in southern Ohio and debuted her acting talents in local children's theatre productions. She left Ohio to pursue an acting career via modeling in New York and abroad. In New York is where she landed her first film role as "Dana" in Garden State, written, starring and directed by Zach Braff. This stand out role brought her to Los Angeles where she began working in independent film. She has starred in Weapons, directed by Adam Bhala Lough, as Nikki, a tough adolescent, alongside Paul Dano, which went to Sundance and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. She played a darker role in An American Crime with Ellen Paige, directed by Tommy O'haver. Amy has worked in a variety of genres, from drama such as Footsteps directed by Gavin James, to comedy Walk Hard directed by Jake Kasdan, as well as dramedy Spooner directed by up and coming Drake Doremus. She recently completed Baby O directed by Charlie Matthau. Tanner Hall, directed by Tatiana VonFurstenburg and Francesca Gregorini, went to the Toronto Film Festival. She played Lucasta, a young girl dealing with her sexuality in a boarding school full of girls.

Amy is also a singer/songwriter. She plays guitar and piano and has begun to place her music in films. Amy co-wrote a song for the film Mikybo and Me with Damien Rice entitled "Steal a Mule." She also wrote a piano piece that featured in Tanner Hall.
