A classic

When I was a kid, growing up in the 80's, like anyone else, I watched all the basic stuff and loved most of it. However, somehow, I have to admit that I never really felt much connection with this flick though. I mean, sure, it is pretty neat, no doubt about it, but I never thought it was really so mind-blowing and, I guess, it probably had to do with the story. Basically, you have this kid who finds a time-travelling super car. It sounds great, however, instead of discovering the future and some fantastic world in the process, he actually goes back to the 50's in the USA. I don't know, maybe it was pretty neat for all the American kids watching this flick but, to be honest, I didn't care much about the time period they picked up. Sure, it was decent enough but when I think about time-travelling, my first thought wouldn't be 'Wow, I would really love to go 30 years back in time and see my parents when they were my age'. However, I have to admit it, it is still a really fun movie though, Marty McFly and Doc Brown were both incredibly entertaining and the DeLorean must be the coolest time-machine ever created. Anyway, to conclude, even though I'm not a huge fan, it is still a huge classic and a must-see for any decent movie buff.
