A bad movie

At last, I finally saw the damned thing. Seriously, it took me a while to finally get my hands on this flick, at least 5 years, maybe even a whole decade, and I wish I could say it was worth the wait. I mean, I have been warned by quite a lot of people that the whole thing was really worthless but since it was the last movie directed by Sam Raimi that I hadn’t seen yet, I was still eager to check it out. I mean, a movie directed by Sam Raimi and written by the Coen brothers did sound amazing on paper but the end-result was just awful and, unsurprisingly, Raimi has disowned the whole thing. Basically, it was some kind of weird manic black comedy but it was never funny or entertaining at any moment, in fact, it was rather even seriously annoying to watch. I mean, seriously, it is one of those movies that provides a cartoon noise each time there is a lame joke which is probably one of the most useless gimmicks ever used in a film. Anyway, to conclude, it was really bad and I don’t think it is worth a look, only maybe if you are a die-hard fan of Sam Raimi’s work and you absolutely need to watch all his movies.
