Zvjezdan Misimović (born 5 June 1982) is a Bosnian footballer who plays for Guizhou Renhe in China. Misimović is the co-captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team and the most capped player in the history of the team.
Misimović was born to a family of gastarbeiters who came to West Germany from Bosanska Gradiška during the late 1960s.
Misimović's wife, Stefanija, is from Strumica, Macedonia. The couple have three sons together: Luka (born in 2004), Niko (born in 2009) and Noel (born in 2013). Misimović is an Orthodox Christian.
