Zrinko Ogresta

A Croatian screenwriter and director, he graduated in 1982 from the Department of Film and Television Direction of Zagreb’s Academy of Dramatic Arts. His films are known for their strong visual style, and the way in which they gradually uncover the anxieties and traumas hiding behind the façade of the characters’ contented middle-class existence. He currently teaches film direction at his alma mater and is a member of the European Film Academy.
