Zach learned early you must fight to survive. He was born 4 months premature at only one pound five ounces. Born with undeveloped lungs and translucent skin he struggled for the first six months of life hooked up to oxygen, and daily transfusions of blood in the neo-natal ward of New York University Hospital. The oxygen tube lodged down his throat accounts for the unique sounding voice Zach has today. At only 14 years of age he has been described as an actor, voice-over and singing talent who sounds like he has been smoking and drinking for years.
