Young Guns are a British rock band from Buckinghamshire and London, UK. On 22 June 2009 they released their debut EP Mirrors, and their debut album All Our Kings Are Dead was released a year later on 12 July 2010.

The band released their EP Mirrors, which included popular songs such as Weight of the World & Daughter of the Sea in June 22, 2009, and started touring in July 2009, and supporting Lostprophets at around August 2009.
Young Guns decided to move onto their first album, All Our Kings Are Dead, under their own label called Live Forever. This was released on 12 July 2010 and peaked at No. 43 in the UK Albums Chart, and No. 3 in both the UK Rock and Indie album charts. The album featured the singles, Winter Kiss, Sons of Apathy, Crystal Clear, Stitches as well as Weight of the World from Mirrors. Soon after the release of the album Young Guns released music videos for all of the singles.
During the summer Young Guns played at some of the UK's largest festivals, including Download Festival and opening the main stage of Reading Festival. This was proceeded by a European Tour supporting Danko Jones & their own UK Tour (supported by The Swellers and Japanese Voyeurs). Starting on the 15 February Young Guns supported All Time Low with Yellowcard on another European Tour which ended up in the UK, visiting venues such as The O2 Academy in Brixton. On the 10 July 2011 the album was re-released and retitled All Our Kings Are Dead: Gold Edition. This version included the original album as well as a bonus disc DVD. The DVD contained 3 acoustic sessions, 3 live videos and a documentary as well as the music videos for all 5 singles.
The band started recording their new album at Karma Sound Studios in Thailand with producer Dan Weller, former guitarist of the metal band SikTh, around July 2011, and posted studio blogs in YouTube during recording. Then they released their debut single from their second record on October 13, 2011. it is entitled "Learn My Lesson". It premiered on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show and was made available for iTunes soon after. They were soon featured in some popular rock magazines like Rock Sound and Kerrang!.
On 9 November 2011, Young Guns announced the name of their second album, Bones and that it would be released on 6 February 2012. They also simultaneous announced that they would be visiting a small number of small venues around the UK before tour supporting Enter Shikari, starting in their hometown. This would be known as the Bare Bones Club Tour. It was announced the next day that the UK band Polar. would be the opening act for all of the UK dates of the "Bare Bones Club Tour". In December 2011, they released a montage video of Brothers In Arms, one of the songs from their second album, which was only available to the people who pre-ordered the album. On December 31, 2011, it was posted on their official YouTube channel. Then they started shooting their second music video, Bones, while it was premiered on Daniel P Carter's Rock show on Radio 1 January 2, 2012. The official video was posted on January 12, 2012. The official single was released on February 20, 2012. The album was released on February 6, 2012 (February 4, 2012 if pre-order from their website weareyoungguns.com). following Bones, the song Dearly Departed was released as the albums third single and was backed by the bands cover of Fake Plastic Trees (originally by Radiohead). Towers (On My Way) is the albums fourth single.
Bones was released in the US on September 4th, 2012. Young Guns spent the week in NYC and played at the Apple Store in SOHO, as well as held a live Q&A with fans via UStream. MySpaceMusic also streamed the album, in its entirety, the week of release. A music video was released for "You Are Not" on 22 October 2012.
