Description: Xinyu is a Chinese singer under MODHAUS. She was the fifteenth revealed member of [Link removed - login to see]. She was revealed as S15 and the final member of the sub-unit, LOVElution, on July 2, 2023. Xinyu made her debut on August 17, 2023 with LOVElution and the title track, "Girls' Capitalism". Xinyu was born on May 25, 2002 in Beijing, China. During her teenage years she auditioned and was accepted into SM Entertainment and trained there until she left and became a trainee under Yuehua Entertainment. On July 7, 2021 Xinyu was confirmed as a contestant on the Mnet girl group survival show Girls Planet 999 through the show's prologue trailer. Her official profile was then released on July 19.
Xinyu performed IZ*ONE's "Violeta" for the Planet Demo Stage, BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" for the Connect Mission, and BTOB's "Missing You" for the Combination Mission. For the Creation Mission, she was in the unit "7 LOVE Minutes", along with future S11 Kotone, and performed the original song "U+Me=LOVE".
Xinyu was eliminated during episode 11, which aired on October 15, 2021, after not making it through the third round of eliminations.
On April 8, Xinyu was confirmed as a contestant on Youku's newest reality show Great Dance Crew along with the other contestants, through the promotional pictures.
On April 20, S15 was confirmed to be participating in the fourth gravity, which would form two new units of eight. On May 1, she was officially announced as a member of LOVElution.
On June 26, Xinyu was introduced to the rest of the LOVElution members in SIGNAL #303. Her teaser drop was released on Friday 30, and she was officially revealed on July 2. She officially moved into the HAUS on July 4, becoming roommates with SeoYeon.
On August 17, Xinyu made her official debut with LOVElution and the title track, "Girls' Capitalism". From September 24 to October 14, she, along with the rest of LOVElution, completed the first leg of the tour in North America from September 24 to October 14. ... (more)
