William Bradford Huie

William Bradford Huie was an American writer, investigative reporter, national lecturer and television host. He wrote 21 books including his 1959 novel "The Americanization of Emily", based on his own experiences in World War II. He wrote hundreds of articles that appeared in all of the major magazines and newspapers of the day. Huie wrote several books about controversial topics related to World War II and the Civil Rights Movement. Huie also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy and later as a war correspondent during World War II.
