Wes Moore

Wes Moore is an American politician, businessman, author and former Army officer serving as the 63rd governor of Maryland. He also authored the 2010 nonfiction book "The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates", detailing two kids named Wes Moore born within a year of each other in similar Baltimore neighborhoods, where one grew up to be a Rhodes Scholar, decorated veteran, White House Fellow and business leader, while the other ended up a convicted murderer serving a life sentence; writing "The chilling truth is that his story could have been mine. The tragedy is that my story could have been his."
