Wanda Nara was born on December 9, 1986 in Vicente López, Buenos Aires, Argentina as Wanda Solange Nara. She is known for Casados con hijos (2005), Patinando por un sueño (2007) and Bailando por un sueño (2006).

Nara made her debut as a vedette during the summer season between 2005 and 2006 in Humor en custodia. In August 2007, she joined as a participant in Patinando por un Sueño, a popular entertainment program hosted by Marcelo Tinelli. At the end of 2009, she expanded her foray into television by joining The Musical of Your Dreams as a contestant, and in May 2011, she participated in the famous Bailando 2011 contest. The latter marked a milestone in her career, although months later she was forced to abandon him due to her pregnancy, after which she moved to Italy with her then husband Maxi López. In his absence, his sister Zaira Nara, also a media figure and host, took his place on the program.

In early 2020, she acted as a commentator on the fourth edition of Grande Fratello VIP (Big Brother VIP) on Italian television. Later, in 2022, she served as one of the featured panelists and researchers on the first edition of "Who is the mask?" in Argentina, presented by Natalia Oreiro. In 2014, she began a relationship with soccer player Mauro Icardi, whom she met through her friendship with Maxi López while they played together in the 2012-13 Serie A in Italy. On 16 October 2021, Nara wrote a message on her Instagram story seemingly directed at her husband Icardi. The message said that someone had "ruined another family for a s**t". The following day, she left Paris for Milan, the family's former home until 2019, with her five children. Later, the two spouses reconciled, and Nara and her five children returned to live with Icardi. However, Nara announced the end of their marriage almost a year later on 22 September 2022 in Instagram Stories. Two months later, Nara and Icardi were back together, before once again splitting a month later. Their on-again, off-again relationship continued with another reconciliation in 2023.
