Sheela Jane Rao was always inspired by her teachers and authority figures growing up and they are part of the reason she pursued a college degree so passionately. Now, with the tables turned, Sheela Jane Rao tries to encourage children from poorer communities to attend college and receive an education because she believes with the right support system the children in these communities can change the world. If she can inspire one kid to work towards college, Sheela Jane Rao says it’d be worth it.
