FRANK GORSHIN AND CLIVE ROBERTS IN LAS VEGAS
FRANK GORSHIN'S FILMS INCLUDE:
Warlock" (1959), "Where the Boys Are" (1960), "Bells Are Ringing" (1960), "Ring of Fire" (1961), "The George Raft Story" (1961), "Batman" (1965), "12 Monkeys" (1995) and many others.
Although best known for playing "The Riddler" in the BATMAN TV series Frank Gorshin was a talented actor, singer, comedian, night club entertainer and a remarkable impressionist. I first met Frank at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel back in 1993 but have been with him since then on many occasions. He used to phone me at home here in the U.K. quite often to tell me about the shows he was doing and enquiring when my next visit back to Hollywood would be. He sent me video tapes of his act along with photographs, press cuttings etc. In 1995 he was starring as Nathan Detroit in "Guys and Dolls" (along with Jack Jones as Sky Masterson) at the Desert Inn, Las Vegas and I went over specially to see him. We spent a very enjoyable week together and I was in his company every day. I was with him again when he attended the Hollywood Collectors and Celebrities Show in 1998. Sadly missed.
