This letter was written by Marilyn to Joe just a month and a half after their wedding. They were married on January 14, 1954, but divorced just nine months later.
In these two wonderful photographs, Marilyn and Joe relax at at the Tides Hotel & Bath Club in North Redington Beach, Florida, in March 1961.
They had become very close immediately after the end of Marilyn’s marriage to Arthur Miller (which lasted almost five years), and their bond had developed into a solid and deep friendship.
