Picture of Gianni Agnelli

Francis Bacon and Gianni Agnelli were great friends, so much so that in 1977 the English artist also painted him in one of his typical triptychs, “Three studies for a portrait (Gianni Agnelli)” shown here in the photo next to the real Agnelli. It is said that one of the paintings in the triptych, for years, sailed the Mediterranean seas hanging in the dining room on board one of the Avvocato's yachts
