Another person L’Wren Scott worked with in the 1980s, was iconic artist Keith Haring.
—— Scott met Haring in the mid 1980s on one of her first ever modeling jobs in Monaco. According to Haring’s journals that have since been released, he hired Scott after hearing of her height. He painted her with different brightly colored sun tan lotions (similar painting seen on Grace Jones) & photographed her against a white sheet - Haring said in his journal that this aspect of the creative direction was, “her idea.” Perhaps L’Wren’s first attempts with creative direction?
