A bad movie

Obviously, I wasn’t expecting much from this flick but I still wanted to check it out. Honestly, I thought it was not as bad as I expected but, of course, it was still rather lame. Back in those days, Ben Affleck was pretty much in a dark place, all his movies were either commcercial or critical flops (usually both) and the guy was considered by many as the worst actor in the world. Personally, I always thought that the guy was not such a bad actor but, to think that he would win the Best Picture Academy award 8 years later (already his 2nd one following ‘Good Will Hunting’) was completely unexpected. Still, there is no denying that this movie was pretty horrible, probably the worst thing involving Ben Affleck. To be honest, I think the Christmas comedy is probably one of the worst genres and, to make things worse, this movie might be one of the lowest points in an already weak genre. Basically, the biggest issue with this flick is that the concept behind was not remotely funny, interesting or entertaining at all. To conclude, it pretty much deserves its lousy reputation and I would suggest you to avoid it.
