A classic

Since I kept hearing some great things about this flick, I was really eager to check it out and I had some great expectations about the damned thing. Indeed, it was the Monty Python's first 'real' movie and it has been a huge classic ever since. I remember it very well, one of my oldest childhood friends was really a huge fan and wouldn’t stop telling me that it was one of the greatest movies ever made. I ‘m pretty sure I saw this flick with him the first time around. Eventually, to my surprise, I didn’t like it much. Basically, I was never able to really connect with the jokes and I always found them more stupid than actually funny. By now, I have watched this movie already a couples of times and I have never actually really enjoyed it. I don't know, maybe I should give it another try. If I’m not mistaken, it was the first movie made by the Monty Python that I saw and, except with ‘Life of Brian’ which is indeed one of the best movies ever made, I didn’t really love any of their movies so I guess their humor is not for me. Anyway, to conclude, even though I’m not a huge fan of this movie, it is still pretty much a classic so you should check it out, especially if you like the genre.
