An average movie

I remember it very well, when this movie was released, it was a big critical flop. Eventually, I have to agree that this sequel was rather disappointing but, honestly, what were you expecting? Indeed, even though ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ was a fun and entertaining feature, that’s what it was and nothing more and I was always amazed about the number of people thinking that this movie was actually some kind of masterpiece. With this sequel, it is as if Steven Soderbergh and his all-star crew wanted to make it clear to their audience that they were just fools to take those movies seriously and the whole thing was just an excuse for them to have some fun in some exotic locations while shooting this movie. And that’s the main issue here. Indeed, even though the actors seemed to be enjoying themselves, the whole thing was actually rather tedious to watch. Above all, even though I have to admit that there were here and there a couple of good scenes, the plot was just terribly convoluted and rather boring. It was as if they tried to convince us that the story shouldn’t matter at all, as long as you get to see a bunch of stars fooling around. On top of that, even the heists were just rather disappointing. To conclude, I don’t think it was really awful but it was still rather weak and not really worth a look, I’m afraid.
