An average movie

Since I kept hearing that this movie was pretty creepy, I was quite eager to check it out. First of all, I have to admit that I haven't seen the original Japanses version but this remake was in fact rather disappointing. Indeed, I thought that the story was not really interesting and, above all, I didn't find it really scary at all. Seriously, for all the people who thinks that this is a scary flick, they should definitely check some good old japanese horror movie (for ex. 'Ringu'). Those are really well made and sometimes really frightening. Eventually, I have to admit it, it wasn't really that bad actually but I thought it was terribly generic and, honestly, rather boring to watch. Indeed, basically, I was waiting the whole thing to see something frightening but it never really happened. Furthermore, I have seen almost all the movies starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and, honestly, even though she is quite charming and all, she is not really a good actress, I'm afraid. To conclude, even though it was rather a success at the box-office, it remains a rather unoriginal and not really scary horror movie and it is not really worth a look in my opinion.
