To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this flick but since I have a weak spot for Arnold Schwarzenegger, I thought I might as well check it out. In fact, it would be one of the last movies with Schwarzenegger with a starring part before he would (temporarily) retire to start a political career. First of all, even though this movie has been made in the 2000's, I thought it actually belonged to the 80's with its big macho-action movies. Eventually, even though Sylvester Stallone managed to recycle his kind of movies almost a decade later with ‘The Expendables’ franchise, back then, nobody cared about this flick when it was released and I think it was rather understandable. Indeed, the story was just completely preposterous, I already knew this before watching the damned thing but, at least, the action scenes not bad. Since I'm not a big fan of those 80's action flicks, I can't say I really enjoyed this movie. Anyway, to conclude, I really had a hard time to really care about the whole thing, I guess it is an acquired taste but I don’t think it is really worth a look, except if you are a die-hard fan of the genre.
