I just watched 'Life of Pi' for a second time now, a brilliant film that I first watched about two years ago! The first time, I thought it was very good, the second time, I thought it was great and quite possibly my new favourite film of 2012 (I really liked 'Argo' and might need to re-watch that soon)
'Life of Pi' is brilliantly acted, directed, written and filmed. The script is emotional, touching, intense and at certain times hilarious! Pi is seen at four points in his life and he is played fantastically by Suraj Sharma! Sharma puts emotion and life into his performance when telling the tiger what to do and what not to do and when his family die on the sinking ship and when the tiger leaves him to go to the jungle of an island!
'Life of Pi' also features some brilliant visual effects, direction by Ang Lee and (adapted from Yann Martel's novel) a fantastic script by David Magee! The many angles the film is filmed at are also fantastic! A masterpiece!
