Not as bad as I expected but still not very good

Now when I heard of 'Flubber' and read some reviews, I thought I was going to hate it and then it was not as bad as I expected but still not very good.

'Flubber' is a remake of the 1961 film 'The Absent-Minded Professor' where a professor creates a substance called flubber (flying rubber) but has to deal with his wife. Here the professor is played by Robin Williams and the wife is played by Marcia Gay Harden.

The visual effects are great and the concept of the robot reacting with something happening and showing a shot from a film or TV show is pretty good but where the film goes behind is that there is too much slapstick and too many innuendos. I don't hate this film but it could be better without the lrge amount of slapstick and innuendos.
