I saw the trailer for this and was intrigued to see if it could actually be any good. There was tons of action throughout. It doesn't have a big budget, but I think it was still pretty decent considering. The acting was pretty good. All the characters were likeable and interesting. It's found footage, but for the most part it doesn't feel like most of it's kind. I thought the name for the aliens was a little goofy though. It kind of felt a bit like Halo or Mass Effect. One thing that annoyed me was the constant little facts we get throughout the movie. They were interesting enough but somewhat unnecessary in my opinion. There was an extra scene after the credits that was a little confusing. First it shows one of the dead characters still apparently alive while having the effects of the final battle reflect from the others. Also it doesn't explain what is going on at all. Anyways this was quite fun and entertaining. Just because something isn't Hollywood budgeted or have a household known cast doesn't mean it's going to be bad. If you like sci-fi I'm sure you will get a kick out of this one.
