Review of Hector and the Search for Happiness

Okay so who doesn't love a good Simon Pegg comedy. As soon as I saw the trailer for this I was excited. This kind of felt somewhat like Eat Pray Love which isn't a bad thing. The supporting cast here does a wonderful job with a few pretty big names playing very minor yet pivotal roles. It had some pretty hilarious moments, some rather heart warming moments, and some of it made you actually think about what makes your own self happy. I'm not sure it explains which part of Africa he is in (which I was really interested in knowing because that is my favorite continent), but it isn't really necessary to the particular story. I find it interesting that to discover something about ones own self it takes a journey that wraps around to the beginning. It's definitely worth checking out. I'm sure it will lift your spirits especially if you are feeling down in the dumps.
