A good movie

To be honest, even though I did like this movie, I still think it is actually rather overrated. I mean, according to Empire, it was even the best of movie released in 2007. Come on, it was indeed pretty good but not that good... Sure, I have to admit the action scenes were great, that’s for sure, at least if you don't really mind the shaky camera and there was some very good acting, especially by Matt Damon. However, there was in my opinion still one big issue and it was the fact that Jason Bourne, at this point, pretty much became some kind of super-hero with some super powers. Indeed, by now, the guy was omnipotent, he was everywhere whenever he wanted and he heard, saw everything. In my opinion, this approach was actually rather boring. Personally, I liked more ‘The Bourne Identity’ when he was sweating the whole thing, fighting for his life and wondering what the hell was going on with him. I re-watched this movie again recently and it really stroke me how far-fetched the whole thing was, especially the way Nicky Parsons seemingly showed up from nowhere and decided to help him pretty much just to move on the plot and to provide him with a temporary sidekick at the same time. Anyway, to conclude, even though I think it tends to be overrated, I have to admit it, it remains a really solid and entertaining action flick and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
