A very good movie

I have seen this movie like 17 years ago when it was released and I honestly wonder how I actually ended up watching the damned thing in the movie theater but it definitely left a great impression on me. Obviously, it is quite an obscure feature (I was the 3rd user who rated this movie) and it is above all remembered as the movie that launched Ashley Judd’s career (it was her 2d part but her first as a leading lady). Anyway, it is basically a movie without any action scenes, only a few dialogs but, somehow, it was still quite mesmerizing to behold. Concerning Ashley Judd, her perfomance was really impressive and I thought at the time that she had a great future ahead of her. Eventually, she did manage to reach the A list at some point (I would say around 1997 with ‘Kiss the Girls’) but she didn’t manage to hold on this status for very long and, nowadays, she is stuck playing some supporting role in some rather underwhelming production which is really too bad. Anyway, coming back to our main feature, even though it is something really obscure, I really loved it and I think it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
