To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but since there was a decent cast involved, I thought I might as well give it a try. Eventually, even though it was nothing really amazing, I thought it was not bad at all and fairly entertaining to watch. Above all, I really enjoyed the mood of this movie and the acting and directing were decent as well. Furthermore, we don't hear much from Ryan Philippe nowadays but I thought he was not bad at all here. On top of that, I always had a weak spot for Sarah Polley, she remains one of the most underrated actress around but it’s too bad she often shows up in such obscure features. Eventually, even though the whole thing was not bad, at the end of the day, the story could have been better though and I wasn't crazy about the twist(s) at the end. That’s a common issue with this kind of thrillers, they create a nice mood but, from the moment that they try to explain what the hell was going on, then, they usually fall apart. Anyway, to conclude, in spite of its flaws, I thought that there were many things to enjoy about this flick and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
