I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie but since I have a weak spot for both Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt, I was quite eager to check it out. Basically, it combines two very good storylines, one in the 70's involving a teenager killing a young man and an even younger boy witnessing this killing and another storyline involving the same killer and the same witness many years later when they are supposed to confront each other during some kind of TV show. The main issue with this movie is that those two tales were so good, they could or should have focused on only one of them and the rather short running time (barely above 80 minutes) didn't help either. On top of that, since their actual meeting for the cameras didn't actually occur, to wrap everything up and to give these characters some closure, they still managed to add a confrontation but it wasnโt really convincing and it didnโt hold up very well with the rest of the movie which was rather well developed. Still, it was a powerful story and those two characters were really intriguing. To conclude, even though the whole thing wasn't entirely successful, it was still a pretty good drama and it's definitely worth a look.
