A gorgeous movie

To be honest, even though I didn't really expect it, I have to admit that I was really charmed by this flick and, in my opinion, it is actually one of the very best fairy tales delivered by Disney. First of all, it was just a gorgeous animated movie. Indeed, if I recally it correctly, it was the first time that Disney used this kind of CGI animation which really looked like something hand-drawn and the end-result was just really amazing (there were even some neat effects with the 3D version). However, I have to admit that the story was still missing something to become truly remarkable and, after all, it remains a rather generic fairy tale but it was still really entertaining with some neat characters. On top of that, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider had some great chemistry and they formed one of the best romantic couples ever delivered by Disney. Even though it did some decent business at the box-office, this movie didn't really turn out to be a smashing success and it would be thanks to 'Frozen' that Disney would have again a huge hit, breaking all kinds of records but, to be honest, I thought that this one was much superior to 'Frozen' . Anyway, obviously , this movie didn't ever really reach the greatness of the Pixar classics but it was still a really good animated feature and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
