Review of Disaster L.A.

Well the name alone doesn't give this a good first impression. From what I've seen Jerod Meagher plays pretty much the same character he did in the ABCs of Death 2 segment V. Although here he is a bit more likeable and quite possibly the only character I actually have interest in. There are definitely some dumb decisions and the usual cliches made throughout. I thought the zombie designs were actually kind of unique and interesting to look at. Why does the person who screws up act like everyone else is at fault? I get that sacrifice happens in many zombie films, but when it is repeated again and again in the same movie it's just ridiculous. Also something annoying is that people just change their stands on stuff way too easily. This Jacob guy sounds like Christian Bale and Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory mashed into one. He is also probably one of the most annoying characters here. I don't understand why Los Angeles is so empty in this. I would think there would be tons of chaos even if people stayed in doors there would still be people outside too. There are barely any bodies, car wrecks, or even that many zombies. Wait a minute this is written, directed, and produced by a guy named Turner. No wonder Turner is the best character of the whole movie while everyone else was bland and poorly developed. Anyways this was actually one of the most boring zombie films I have seen. It could have been better, but the plot was just as empty as the set. Skip this one zombie fans you will be majorly disappointed.
