I love me some Stephen King so I decided to check it out. Now that I see it's a Lifetime movie I'm a bit skeptical on how good it will be. I do enjoy Maria Bello though. It's like Misery meets I Spit on Your Grave. Of course it isn't as gruesome as something like the latter. Lifetime movies as I've seen usually are pretty cheesy and are super low budget. This however felt way different. It was very much a Stephen King style movie story and content wise, but you could also tell it was a Lifetime kind of my by the editing and filming styles. One thing I notice in Stephen King stories is that a lot of characters experience vivid dreams and personified imaginations. The acting is great especially from Maria Bello. There were some good twists and turns some of which I didn't expect. I loved Tom he was awesome. The ending was a bit awkward and felt misplaced. Anyways it was a good watch, but certainly not the best of Stephen King. If you love him then you will still want to see this for sure.
